5. FUNDRAISING
Fundraising for an organisation like CNCF provides a great opportunity for you to learn more about the global issues facing disadvantaged children whilst meeting new people and utilising your skills or even gaining new ones.
There are a few options to consider when fundraising for CNCF:
Get into the thick of things - by contacting your local CNCF office and joining one of their fundraising committees to lend a hand.
Get Active - Perhaps you and some of your friends are about to undertake a challenging event like a marathon and wish to make all your efforts worth it. So why not nominate CNCF as your charity of choice. Or even sign up for one of CNCF's action events. For details of upcoming events near you, check out the Event Diary .
Think out of the box - Maybe you have a business that could fundraise for CNCF, through donations from your sales. Or maybe you have a creative new idea that you think may help raise awareness and funds for us. Why not contact your nearest office to discuss.
Get Connected - Perhaps you can help on events already planned? If you have a venue suitable for a fundraising event, run a catering company or could supply auction or raffle prizes, please get in touch with your nearest CNCF office .
6. CNCF MERCHANDISE
Each of our offices carries a range of CNCF Merchandise that can be purchased – supporting CNCF.
CNCF recommendation;
Christina has written two books 'Bridge Across My Sorrows' and 'Mama Tina' which detail the triumphs and challenges that Christina and the foundation have faced. Both books are inspirational reads and once you start you will simply not be able to put them down. They make great presents and we certainly suggest that you pass them on to friends and family. (Available from any of our CNCF offices or from any good book store.)
7. GOODS IN KIND
We often are in need of items for the children and our operations in Vietnam and Mongolia. If you are interested in donating something, or are planning a trip to either Vietnam or Mongolia and could bring some items with you, simply contact your nearest CNCF office. They will then contact our centers to get an update on what goods are needed the most at that time. As our needs do change from week to week.
8. PUBLICITY
Raise awareness of the plight of the world's children and the work that CNCF is doing to alleviate their suffering. Tell your family, friends and colleagues about this web site and come back regularly for the latest news and information on forthcoming events in our Event Diary.
If you work for the media and would like to know more in terms of how you can help us raise our profile please contact one of our CNCF offices directly.
9. VISIT THE OPERATIONAL CENTERS IN VIETNAM AND MONGOLIA
We would of course welcome the opportunity of introducing you first hand to some of the wonderful work undertaken by Christina and the Foundation in Vietnam and Mongolia.
We are more than happy to show you around our projects but as you will understand these are working operations and we do have to take into consideration the well being of the children and our staff. For many of the children we care for this is their home and we need to respect this at all times.
Therefore we would prefer it if you contacted your nearest CNCF office directly and let them know of your plans or interest to visit. They will then liaise with our operational staff on times and schedules that would be suitable to all.
Please note we prefer group sizes not to exceed 4 people and photography is prohibited at all times to prevent upsetting or disrespecting the children. Please feel free to contact us for further clarification.
Thank you for your interest in CNCF and your offer to help is greatly appreciated. Your valuable support extends the reach of CNCF and spreads our word and networks. |
