Child Sponsorship Programmes in Vietnam

Much of the child sponsorship in Vietnam is for families in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) that may not be able to afford to continue to send their child to school or face medical challenges. Currently just over a 1,000 children are assisted in HCMC and the disbursement of sponsorship funds for children in the city still occurs the same way it has for years. Sponsored children and/or their guardians come to the CNCF office to get their sponsorship money on every first Thursday of each month. This is a great opportunity for the CNCF sponsorship team members to talk with the children and/or their guardian, receiving updates on the children's health, studies and living conditions.
