The Christina Noble Children's Foundation (Ireland) is located in Dublin's city centre, opposite Trinity College. The President of Ireland, Mary McAleese, launched the Foundation with Christina at Dublin City Hall on February 15th 1998 noting how Christina's work had “made a colossal difference” by “bringing true nobility and true dignity to the lives of children”. Over the last 11 years, the Foundation in Ireland has grown considerably and now sponsors almost 1,000 children in Vietnam and Mongolia. We provide financial support to all of the Foundation's programmes and facilities. Being situated in the country of Christina's birth, we are always overwhelmed by the support, 'meas' and 'grá' shown by the Irish people to Christina and her work with the children in Vietnam and Mongolia. This is also reflected in the great number of Irish people who have volunteered and visited The Centre of Social Assistance for Disadvantaged Children in Vietnam and the Blue Skies Ger Village in Mongolia.
On a daily basis, the office manages sponsors and donators from Ireland, the USA, Canada and further afield. We actively promote the Foundation's great work and undertake regular fundraising activity. Sponsors and donators receive a quarterly newsletter informing them of forthcoming events and launches. We are delighted for the help and support provided by Irish businesses and we hope to further develop these relationships so that we can continue to provide for the Sunshine Children of Vietnam and Mongolia.
