Hale School’s fifth annual visit to the CNCF Vietnam took place in the April school holidays. Fourteen Year 12 boys accompanied by two staff members spent a wonderful three days visiting with the children. Day one commenced with a very informative introductory session followed by the group spending the afternoon at the CSADC playing and interacting with the children. The boys loved cuddling and playing with the babies and toddlers and were exhausted by the antics of the Kindy kids. We were also very fortunate to meet up with five of our sponsored children and had a great time singing songs as well as teaching the kids how to play Australian rules football. The next day we visited the lovely young men at the Boys’ Shelter where we had a lot of fun and laughter playing various games , singing, dancing and sharing personal photo albums with the boys. Our last day was spent at the Tay Ninh Centre for Visually Impaired where we were entertained by the children performing an aerobics session and playing traditional Vietnamese musical instruments. We responded with many fun filled games and songs accompanied by a guitar. Our grateful thanks to the staff at CNCF Vietnam for facilitating yet another memorable visit.
