This is one of the very busiest times of the year in the Mongolian calendar and Ulaan Baatar is gearing up for the arrival of hundreds of overseas visitors for the Mongolian National Nadam Festival.

The foundations team in Mongolia greeted their own extraordinary visitor; Christina Noble, who arrived at the end of May to spend quality time with our beautiful children and to coordinate the handover of the operations from the outgoing manager Mr Eamonn Thornton to Mrs Egiimaa Gongorjav.

Christina and the team have been very busy with moving office and reviewing the operations processes prior to the arrival of new team members joining later in the summer, when we will warmly welcome Mrs Ouyungerel Dorjo, who will act as our Director of Child Psychology and Ms Helene Nyborg; who will take on the role of Director of Child Care. Helene is no stranger to the foundation as previously she held the role as Volunteer Coordinator in our Vietnam operations.

From the global team, we welcome our new colleagues and look forward to working very closely with them in making Christina’s dream a reality.
