The excitement was palpable at the Girls Shelter yesterday in Vietnam as 20 members of WAGS (Wednesday Afternoon Golfers Society) from all over the world arrived to meet our girls with a view to raising funds towards the annual running costs of their home.
Our intrepid girls welcomed the visitors with excitement and were eager to show off their newly acquired English skills to introduce themselves. Proudly announcing their name, age and favourite pastime. Our girls love having visitors and relish the time they can spend with visiting friends of our Foundation. There was fun and laughter as food and drinks were distributed to all to celebrate the WAGS visit. It was a very special occasion and we hope it will not be the last time we see these very generous WAGS.
Our Girls Shelter provides a safe, loving and secure place for vulnerable girls who are in need of emotional and physical support from any range of hardships.
