Dance enthusiasts decided to make the most of a Thursday night get together after the bank holiday, catching up with friends, getting down to some familiar tunes and raising money all at the same time. This was the second “Back to Life” session, this time centrally located at Solas, right in the heart of Hong Kong’s business district. Making it a perfect location for passer bys to drop in for a quick drink or staying to make a night of it. Energy levels ran high and DJ’s, Housekeeping and Bandy both revved it up a notch, playing the crowds old favourites, whilst the special guest bar tenders kept up with the tempo serving thirsty punters; Thanks to Jason, Deanna and Murray for giving up their time and adding a sense of spirit to the event. A huge thank you must also go the CNCF summer interns; Elizabeth Oh, Morris Xu and Josh Ruff. Taking charge of the door is not an easy task but you did well on your first fundraising event and still managed time to let attendees know how much their support means to a grass roots charity such as ours. On behalf of the foundation I would like to thank Carl personally for pulling this fun event together, to Ciarian from Solas for donating the venue and the shots; which helped raise the mood and funds for the charity. To Evania Myers for helping get the word out there and to all the guests for making it a fun and worthy event for the foundation. We look forward to seeing you at the next one.
