PROVIDING EDUCATION TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY

VIETNAM

SON CA KINDERGARTEN

The kindergarten and day care (called Son Ca Songbird Unit) for community children ages 3 to 5 years for underprivileged children is housed in CNCF’s flagship Sunshine Social and Medical Centre. At Son Ca, children receive care and early childhood education in a safe and loving environment where their nutrition and health needs are monitored daily. Without CNCF’s support, many parents would have no choice but to take their children to work or leave them home alone. Classes follow the Vietnam National Curriculum for early school education and we modify teaching methods to meet our children’s learning needs.

CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME

Our Programme provides financial and social support to children and their families to help communities out of poverty. CNCF matches a child with a sponsor from across the globe and their monthly financial sponsorship covers the cost of the child’s education including tuition fees, school supplies, uniforms, and transportation to and from school as well as food, clothes, and extracurricular activities when needed.
