This is child sponsor and supporter Lili Musgrave who is currently taking on 10 Munros in 10 weeks, while raising funds for our Give a Ger Programme. She has currently completed 6 and hoping to take on two more in the coming week, thats if the Scottish weather is kind!

A few words from Lili about her sponsorship and progress:

“Since 2018 I have been sponsoring a child in Mongolia via the child sponsorship programme. In order to support the charity further, and with few events taking place this year, I’ve set myself my own challenge of climbing 10 Munros in 10 Weeks (Munros are Scottish mountains that are over 915m high). The challenge started on the 7th October with the popular Ben Lomond. Since then I have added: Card an Tuirc, Cairn of Claise, Glasswork Maol, Creag Leacach and Ben Chonzie. Besides the challenge in reaching the summit, I’ll now be faced with the challenge of colder weather and shorter days! I’m just hoping for some dry and sunny spells to help make my journey up the next four a little less wet and cold than Ben Chonzie was on Sunday!”

On behalf of all of us at the Foundation big thanks to Lili for your ongoing support and best of luck for the remainder of the challenge we are looking forward to the updates!

All funds raised will support our Give a Ger Programme in Mongolia, the Give-a-Ger Programme provides families who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or living in dangerous and inhabitable conditions with warm, safe and functional new homes. The ger not only improves the family’s quality of life but allows them to embark on a brighter future where parents have peace that their family is safe and warm though the harsh Mongolian winters and children can focus on their education.
