Covering 3,000 miles from La Gomera to Antigua, this is the world’s toughest rowing race.
On the 12th December, 2020, Harry Hearn, Alex Soskin, Ed Batchelor and Tom Phillips, will test their endurance, spirit and friendship, as they pit themselves against the Atlantic Ocean in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.
This will be the challenge of all challenges as Team Oardacity, will be rowing 2 hours on, 2 hours off in rotation, 24 hrs a day, with the ambition to break the current World Record of 29 days and 15hrs, in the world’s toughest rowing race across the world’s second largest ocean.
Harry Hearn and Alex Soskin are used to taking on challenges and raising much needed funds for Christina Noble Children’s Foundation having taken on a demanding trek to Everest Base Camp 2 years ago. This time as part of Team Oardacity the boys are joined by childhood friends Ed and Tom where they will be raising funds for our Foundation and putting themselves through the toughest of physical endurance tests.
We hope that all of our supporters will really get behind the boys and support them on this amazing journey you can read more about the race and their preparations by visiting their website. There are also fantastic opportunities for corporate and individual sponsorship, so please do take a look.
